Greater Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, July 2025 – Jason Tee (郑仲竣) has taken on a new role as People & Culture Manager at EBC Financial Group, bringing his strong HR leadership experience across Asia to this global financial powerhouse. In his new position, Jason will be responsible for driving strategic people initiatives, supporting inclusive workplace culture, and aligning talent strategies with EBC’s global vision.
Jason joins EBC Financial Group following his tenure at GrowthOps Asia, where he spent nearly two years, most recently serving as Head of People & Culture – Asia. In this role, he led HR strategy and business partnering across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. His experience included driving engagement, leading wellness initiatives, overseeing career development programs, and managing complex regional people operations.
Prior to GrowthOps Asia, Jason served as Country People Manager at Qashier, where he scaled up the team rapidly while creating and implementing performance appraisal systems and ensuring HR compliance. Over his time there, he demonstrated an exceptional ability to blend operational execution with culture-building.
Earlier in his career, Jason held HR and talent acquisition roles at Nettium, I-Serve Payment Gateway, Jobstore.com, and Signature International Berhad, where he developed deep expertise in recruitment strategy, coaching, and employee engagement. His transition from hospitality and operations roles into strategic HR leadership underscores a well-rounded and diverse career path.
