Chema Palomo Takes On Expanded Role as Vice President of International Talent Management at PepsiCo

Geneva, Switzerland, July 2025 – Chema Palomo has stepped into a significantly expanded role as Vice President of International Talent Management – EMEA, LATAM, APAC & International Beverages at PepsiCo. In his new capacity, Chema will oversee talent strategy and leadership development across key international markets, focusing on driving organizational effectiveness and shaping future-ready global talent pipelines.

Prior to this elevation, Chema Palomo served as Vice President – Talent Management & Organization Effectiveness for LATAM at PepsiCo, based in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area. In this position, he was instrumental in building strong leadership development frameworks and driving strategic people initiatives across the Latin America region.

Before joining PepsiCo, Chema was Global Senior Vice President – Culture, Talent & Development at Danone, where he played a transformative role in shaping global talent and culture strategies from the company’s headquarters in Paris. His work significantly advanced Danone’s employer branding and leadership effectiveness programs.

Earlier, Chema spent five years with Banco Santander, where he served as Group Vice President – Global Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and DEI, as well as HR Senior Director. His work during this period was marked by global scale interventions in talent development and inclusion, covering various regions from the company’s Madrid base.

Chema also brings rich HR leadership experience from Johnson & Johnson, where over five years he led strategic people functions across regions including EMEA, North Africa, Near East, and West Asia, and served as EMEA HR Analytics Champion. He began his HR career with CEMEX, LVMH, Venture Consulting, and Deloitte, building a foundation across HR, finance, and business consulting.

Chema holds an MBA from CEIBS and completed an International Exchange Program at London Business School, equipping him with a strong academic foundation in global leadership.
