Phreesia has announced the appointment of Jack Callahan as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Callahan, who steps into his new role with a wealth of experience from his previous position as Vice President of Engineering at Phreesia, has been an integral part of the company for 14 years. He is set to succeed Dan Nathan, a veteran who has contributed 17 years to the establishment and growth of Phreesia’s technical capabilities. Nathan will continue to lend his expertise to the company in the role of Senior Engineering Advisor.
Expressing his enthusiasm for his new position, Callahan remarked, “I’m honored to take on this role at Phreesia as we evolve and expand our platform to tackle healthcare’s biggest challenges.” He also paid tribute to his predecessor, stating, “Dan has contributed immensely to the company’s success, and I look forward to continuing to leverage his knowledge of our products and systems in our effort to help patients take a more active role in their care.”
Callahan’s journey with Phreesia began in 2010 as an engineer, and he has ascended through various roles, demonstrating a strong capability for leadership and innovation, most notably in his recent position as Vice President of Engineering. Before his tenure at Phreesia, Callahan honed his skills at Spotfire as a Developer and Architect, where he played a crucial role in assisting clients across various industries in data gathering and analysis.
Chaim Indig, CEO of Phreesia, lauded both Nathan’s contributions and Callahan’s capabilities, stating, “On behalf of everyone at Phreesia, I want to thank Dan, who has been a huge contributor to the growth of our company. Jack is a well-respected leader with a proven track record of driving innovation. I’m confident he will guide our engineering team to continue building exceptional products that have a measurable impact on making care easier every day.”
