Yosif Saptis Appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bank of Jordan

Amman, Jordan, August 2025 – Yosif Saptis has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Bank of Jordan. With over three decades of HR leadership across banking, telecom, mining, and construction industries, Yosif brings extensive expertise in people management, HR strategy, and organizational transformation. In his new role, he will be responsible for shaping the bank’s people strategy, advancing HR transformation, and strengthening the employee experience across the organization’s regional footprint.

Before joining Bank of Jordan, Yosif served as Group Chief HR & Shared Services Officer at Capital Bank of Jordan, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening HR systems, governance, and shared services during a period of organizational transformation.

Earlier, he spent 15 years at Arab Bank as Senior Vice President, Head of HR Strategy & Planning, where he led critical HR strategies, planning, and people development initiatives for the bank.

Yosif’s leadership journey also includes serving as Head of HR CEMEA (Central & East Europe, Middle East & Africa) at Nokia, where he directed HR operations across multiple countries. Prior to that, he was with Rio Tinto as HR & Processes Development Manager – Pechiney, driving HR process improvements and workforce development in Greece.

He also gained extensive HR leadership experience earlier in his career at Archirodon Group N.V. as Group HR Manager and at Consolidated Contractors Company as Field HR Manager, where he spent close to nine years building strong foundations in field HR operations.

In addition to his corporate roles, Yosif has been contributing as a Personal Advisor on Governance, AI Transformation, People Management & Life Coaching through his advisory venture, and as Director of People Advisory at The Audit Bureau, showcasing his commitment to advancing HR thought leadership.
