Gurugram, Haryana, India, September 2025 — Romita Chatterjee has been appointed as the Head of Marketing and Communications at Elior India. In this role, she will lead the company’s brand positioning, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement while driving both internal and external narratives that strengthen Elior’s presence in the Indian market.

Before joining Elior, Romita was the Deputy General Manager – Marketing & PR at Brookfield Properties, where she successfully led communications campaigns that elevated brand visibility and advanced stakeholder trust across the real estate sector. She played a pivotal role in building external positioning for the Brookfield India REIT, led the company’s sustainability reporting for three consecutive years, and launched initiatives such as the Brookfield Properties Women’s Network to champion gender equity and leadership development.

Earlier, she served as Senior Manager – Marketing & PR at Bharti Realty, where she crafted communication strategies for premium projects and spearheaded the launch of the “Bharti Care” sub-brand. Her role involved strengthening reputation management, building leadership narratives, and driving digital engagement strategies that expanded industry presence.

Prior to her real estate leadership roles, Romita gained significant expertise in advertising, marketing, and communications through positions at International Travel House Limited (ITC Group), dentsu Aegis Network, INNOCEAN Worldwide, Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson Worldwide, and DDB Mudra Group. These roles allowed her to manage high-profile brands such as Hyundai, Honda Cars, SpiceJet, Kurkure, Bacardi, Reliance Broadband, and MagicBricks, giving her a strong foundation in integrated marketing and advertising across diverse industries.

With more than 18 years of professional experience, Romita brings to Elior India a proven record of brand building, public relations, and integrated communication strategies. In her new role, she will focus on amplifying Elior’s digital presence, strengthening employer branding, and creating compelling narratives that reflect the organization’s values and impact.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
