Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management has announced the appointment of Parag Pimple as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With over 24 years of extensive HR leadership experience across financial services, insurance, and pharmaceuticals, Parag brings deep expertise in people strategy, organizational development, and compensation management to his new role.
Parag joins LIC Mutual Fund after an impressive tenure of more than 10 years at Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited, where he served as Assistant Vice President – Human Resources. Based in Mumbai, he played a crucial role in shaping HR policies, strengthening talent acquisition and retention, and driving cultural transformation initiatives to support the company’s growth in India’s competitive insurance sector.
Before this, Parag spent nearly eight years at HDFC Asset Management Company, where he advanced to the role of Senior Manager – Human Resources. In this capacity, he oversaw key HR processes including workforce planning, leadership development, and employee engagement. His contribution was pivotal in strengthening HDFC AMC’s people practices during a phase of significant expansion in the asset management industry.
Earlier in his career, Parag worked with the Merck Group as Manager – HR & Compensation, where he managed compensation strategies and HR business partnering. His role emphasized aligning human capital strategies with organizational objectives, particularly within a complex multinational environment.
He began his HR journey as Assistant Manager HR at Ipca Laboratories Limited and later at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he built a strong foundation in HR operations, talent management, and employee relations in the pharmaceutical sector. These formative experiences equipped him with a robust understanding of diverse HR functions, which have underpinned his subsequent leadership roles.
