Westborough, Massachusetts, United States, September 2025 — Michelle Hayes has been appointed as Vice President, Employee Experience at EG America. In this new role, she will lead strategies and initiatives designed to create a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture, while ensuring HR practices are aligned with business goals. Hayes will partner with senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and oversee employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational design.
Michelle has been with EG America since 2023, serving as Vice President, Employee Relations. During this time, she implemented engagement strategies, enhanced diversity and inclusion initiatives, and strengthened employee satisfaction and retention through proactive policy and culture-building measures.
Before that, she worked at EG Group as Director, Employee Relations & HR Policy, where she designed and executed HR policies to ensure compliance, while cultivating transparency and trust across the organization.
Michelle also played an important role at Cumberland Farms, spending over a decade in HR leadership. She first served as Senior HR Generalist & Business Partner, before advancing to Manager, Employee Relations and HR Policy, where she focused on grievance management, morale initiatives, and employee engagement programs.
Her early HR career equipped her with a strong foundation in organizational development, stakeholder management, and cultural transformation, enabling her to grow into senior HR leadership roles.
