Cheslyn Hay, England, United Kingdom, September 2025 – PP Control & Automation, an award-winning provider of strategic outsourcing solutions to leading global machinery builders, has appointed Pinaki Banerjee as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In this role, Banerjee will drive the company’s continued growth by expanding its global partnerships and reinforcing its position as a trusted manufacturing partner for module and assembly-based outsourcing.
Before joining PP Control & Automation, Banerjee served as CEO – Central Eastern Europe at Rubix, backed by Advent International. Over nearly six years, he oversaw operations across nine countries, including Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria. During his tenure, he delivered an 84% increase in EBITDA, 59% revenue growth, and significant gains in both customer and employee satisfaction. He also spearheaded five M&A transactions and advanced digital sales penetration by 18%, while embedding ESG principles across the business.
Previously, Banerjee was Managing Director, APAC at Hoffmann Group, where he was tasked with leading the group’s fastest-growing region and building a long-term strategy to achieve market leadership. Earlier, he held the role of Managing Director, South Asia at Rational AG, where he established the Indian subsidiary and positioned it among the company’s top ten global subsidiaries.
Banerjee also served as Global Export Director at NSG Pilkington, covering operations across five continents. His strategic turnaround efforts stabilized profitability, drove sales growth, and built a high-performing global network of distributors and agents.
His career at Pilkington United Kingdom Limited spanned over a decade, where he held leadership roles including Commercial Director, Europe, and Global Product Manager, X-Ray Business Line, driving strategic growth across markets in Europe, North America, and Asia. Earlier in his career, he served as Country Manager for South Asia & Middle East, successfully starting operations in one of the world’s largest glass ophthalmic markets. Banerjee began his professional journey at SRF Limited, managing the plastic lens business in India.
Banerjee holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management, Marketing, and Finance from the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB).
