Vinita Ferrao Joins as Global Markets HR Discipline Leader for Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning at Dow

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2024 – Vinita Ferrao has joined Dow as Global Markets HR Discipline Leader, overseeing Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning for key regions including Europe, Middle East, Africa, India, North America, Latin America, and APAC. In this role, Vinita will lead the company’s global talent strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving excellence in leadership hiring, talent development, and learning initiatives across Dow’s diverse markets.

Before joining Dow, Vinita Ferrao was General Manager – India Talent Acquisition at GSK, where she successfully led strategic talent acquisition efforts for over three years. Her responsibilities included executive sourcing, employer branding, and leadership hiring, contributing significantly to GSK’s talent goals.

Prior to GSK, Vinita held the position of Head of India Talent Acquisition at Mondelēz International, where she spearheaded key talent initiatives including the setup of a captive talent acquisition hub and driving the company’s branding and diversity programs for nearly three years. Her leadership in talent management made a significant impact on Mondelēz’s hiring processes and organizational development.

Vinita also spent over five years at Pfizer in various roles, including Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition for India, where she was instrumental in driving talent acquisition excellence and building a strong team across the APAC region. Additionally, her extensive experience at Personnel Search Services Group, where she led the Pharmaceutical, Chemicals, and Healthcare Practice, further highlights her deep expertise in executive search and talent management.
