Dallas, Texas, United States, September 2025 — Shake Shack has announced the appointment of Mavis Stewart as Vice President, Talent Management. In this newly elevated role, she will lead initiatives across talent strategy development, succession planning, learning & development, performance management, people analytics, and engagement to strengthen Shake Shack’s culture and workforce as the brand continues its global growth.
Stewart has been with Shake Shack for more than three years. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition & Employment Branding, where she shaped employer brand strategies and advanced recruitment practices to attract top talent across Shake Shack’s expanding operations.
Before joining Shake Shack, she worked with Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers as Divisional Leader of Recruiting, leading large-scale hiring for frontline and leadership roles.
Earlier, Stewart spent over four years at Chili’s Grill & Bar, serving first as Director of Talent and later as Director, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, where she enhanced leadership pipelines and organizational development frameworks.
Her career also includes key leadership roles as Director of Recruiting at Logic Healthcare, Recruiting Manager at The Pillar Group, and Recruiting Manager at KPMG US, where she supported large-scale professional services hiring. Stewart began her career in healthcare staffing as Director of Recruiting at Merritt Hawkins, where she specialized in physician recruitment across the Southwest.
