New Delhi, Delhi, India, October 2025 – Anna Abraham has been elevated as Deputy Group CFO at HT Media Group and has also joined the Group’s Leadership Team. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in shaping HT Media’s financial and strategic journey, successfully leading Mergers & Acquisitions, Treasury, Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis, and serving as CFO of the Print Business Unit. Her elevation reflects HT Media Group’s strong commitment to nurturing internal talent and strengthening its leadership framework.
In her new role, Anna will continue to report to Piyush Gupta, Group CFO, and oversee Business Finance across all verticals including Print, Print Circulation, Digital, Radio, Shine, Mosaic, and OTT. She will also be responsible for Internal Audit & Risk Management, FP&A, and Treasury. With her deep expertise and proven leadership, Anna is poised to drive HT Media’s financial excellence and support the Group’s long-term growth and transformation journey.
Before her elevation, Anna served as Chief Financial Officer at Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd. for nearly two years, where she provided strategic and financial leadership for the Print Business Unit. Her focus on financial discipline, process optimization, and business strategy supported the company’s sustainable performance.
Previously, she held leadership responsibilities at HT Media Ltd. for more than a decade as Head of M&A, Investor Relations, Corporate Treasury, and FP&A. She successfully executed several high-impact transactions, strengthened investor engagement, and drove the group’s financial planning and corporate governance practices.
Earlier in her career, Anna served as Vice President at Kotak Investment Banking for nearly seven years. She gained extensive transaction experience in both buy-side and sell-side advisory, with expertise in FIG, logistics, and private equity. She developed strong knowledge of the regulatory framework in India for M&A, open offers, buybacks, and delisting transactions.
She began her professional journey with roles at Citigroup and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she built a strong foundation in financial modeling, valuation, statutory audits, tax audits, and reporting for clients across the consumer and industrial products sector.
Anna holds a Post Graduate Programme in Management (Finance & Marketing) from the Indian School of Business (ISB), which equipped her with advanced business and strategic finance expertise.
