Malaysia, June 2026 — Sandoz has appointed Simranjeet Kaur as Director, Business Development & Licensing (BD&L), Asia Cluster.
In her new role, Kaur will support business development and licensing initiatives across the Asia Cluster, focusing on portfolio expansion, strategic partnerships, licensing opportunities, alliance management, and growth initiatives across the region.
Prior to joining Sandoz, she spent more than seven years with Lupin, where she most recently served as Head of Business Development & Licensing.
In this role, she led strategic business development initiatives and portfolio expansion efforts across international markets in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America. She was involved in merger and acquisition activities, licensing transactions, alliance management, regional portfolio growth, and business expansion initiatives. She also held P&L responsibility for the region while overseeing strategic investments and commercial partnerships.
Earlier at Lupin, she served as Portfolio Strategy Manager, where she led portfolio planning, product strategy, licensing negotiations, market assessments, forecasting, ROI evaluations, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
Before joining Lupin, Kaur spent more than two years with Mankind Pharma Ltd., holding positions including Product Manager and Assistant Product Manager. During her tenure, she contributed to specialty business development, dermatology portfolio management, product launches, marketing strategy, and digital marketing initiatives.
Prior to Mankind Pharma, she worked with Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd. as Deputy Product Manager, Assistant Product Manager, and Marketing Executive, supporting product management, business strategy, marketing initiatives, and portfolio development activities.
She began her professional career with Adecco as a Marketing Executive.
Throughout her career, Kaur has developed expertise across business development, licensing, alliance management, portfolio strategy, mergers and acquisitions, product management, forecasting, market analysis, strategic partnerships, commercial strategy, and pharmaceutical business expansion.
She holds an MBA in Marketing Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
