Mumbai, India, October 2025 — Sumit Singh has rejoined Wockhardt Hospitals Ltd as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bringing with him more than three decades of experience in healthcare IT strategy, digital adoption, and enterprise transformation. His return marks a significant milestone in advancing Wockhardt’s digital innovation and strengthening its technology-driven healthcare delivery model.
Sumit has an extensive history with Wockhardt Hospitals, where he previously served nearly eight years as VP CIO & Business Head Digital. During that tenure, he successfully led IT and digital functions across the hospital group’s India operations, driving advancements in clinical systems, digital care delivery, and enterprise technology transformation. His return as CTO underscores Wockhardt’s renewed commitment to a technology-first approach to patient care.
Before rejoining Wockhardt, Sumit was Group CIO at VPS Healthcare, based in Abu Dhabi, where he spearheaded large-scale healthcare IT modernization programs and digital initiatives to optimize clinical and operational performance across the group’s hospital network.
Earlier in his career, Sumit served as Assistant Director – Global IT at EY in New Jersey, where he managed critical global applications supporting enterprise operations worldwide. He also held the position of Senior Application Development Manager at TD Ameritrade, leading multiple in-house development teams and overseeing four flagship trading platforms.
Sumit began his professional journey at Prodigy Services Corp. and later co-founded OnMoney Inc., gaining deep expertise in building financial technology platforms. His diverse experience across healthcare, consulting, and financial services uniquely positions him to lead Wockhardt Hospitals into its next phase of digital transformation.
