Reporting directly to Nick Stone, CEO of Bupa Australia, Rebecca will play a pivotal role in shaping Bupa’s culture, enhancing its people strategy, and driving engagement across its diverse workforce. Nick shared, “Rebecca’s deep expertise in organisational design, combined with a passion for leadership, will be critical for Bupa as we continue to strive towards our ambition of being the most customer-centric healthcare company.”

On her appointment, Rebecca said, “It’s a privilege to be joining Bupa. I look forward to building on Bupa’s strong culture and values, ensuring that our people feel supported, inspired, and equipped to deliver on our purpose and the evolving needs of the communities we serve.”

Nick also extended his gratitude to Jim Nolan, who served as Interim Chief People Officer over the past four months, commending his steady leadership and dedication during the transition period.

At the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), she played a defining role as Chief People Officer, leading HR for over 4,200 employees, spearheading workplace relations, wellbeing programs, and large-scale organizational change. Her earlier roles at RailCorp, NSW Ambulance, and Export Finance Australia gave her a strong foundation in employee relations, workforce planning, and HR governance, shaping her into a versatile and respected HR leader in Australia.
