Hyderabad, Telangana, India, October 2025 — Monish Kulkarni has joined Sai Life Sciences Ltd as Associate Vice President – Human Resources and Head – Talent Acquisition, bringing over two decades of experience in human resources strategy, talent acquisition, and organizational development. In this dual leadership role, he will drive the company’s talent strategy, strengthen leadership hiring, and enhance HR processes to support Sai Life Sciences’ mission of advancing innovation and global growth.
Prior to joining Sai Life Sciences, Monish served at Reliance Retail as General Manager – Lead HR Business Partner, where he led large-scale HR transformation initiatives across multiple business verticals. His work in aligning people strategy with business objectives contributed to strengthening talent engagement and operational efficiency across the organization.
Before that, he was with Cipla as Associate Director – Talent Acquisition, where he managed leadership hiring across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product development functions. His strategic recruitment initiatives played a pivotal role in building high-performing teams in the life sciences domain.
Earlier, Monish held the position of Assistant General Manager – HR at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he headed HR for multiple divisions including CNS, Gastro, HIV, and Super Speciality. His contributions in leading HR strategy, employee engagement, and recruitment initiatives supported the organization’s rapid expansion phase. He also gained valuable experience in his early career at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where he worked across HR generalist and talent acquisition roles.
At Sai Life Sciences, Monish will lead HR initiatives focused on attracting, developing, and retaining world-class talent, supporting the company’s vision to accelerate the discovery, development, and manufacture of complex small molecules for a healthier tomorrow. His leadership is expected to further enhance Sai’s culture of innovation and collaboration as it works towards bringing 25 new medicines to life by 2025.
