San Francisco, California, United States, October 2025 — Matthew Tavlin has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Nerdio, a global leader in cloud management solutions for modern workplaces. In his new role, Matthew will lead Nerdio’s global people strategy, focusing on talent development, leadership enablement, and culture transformation to support the company’s rapid global expansion and innovation in cloud technologies.
Matthew brings over two decades of progressive HR leadership experience across technology, consulting, and enterprise sectors. Prior to joining Nerdio, he served as Vice President, Human Resources – Global Go-To-Market at Freshworks, where he led HR strategy and transformation across global sales, marketing, and customer success functions, driving performance alignment and employee engagement.
Before Freshworks, Matthew was Vice President, Human Resources – Global People Partners at Cohesity, where he built strategic HR frameworks to scale the company’s people function globally. Earlier, during his five-year tenure at Pure Storage, he held multiple senior leadership roles, including Vice President, Human Resources, and was instrumental in strengthening leadership development, organizational design, and diversity initiatives as the company expanded its global footprint.
Matthew’s earlier career includes senior HR roles at VMware, Apigee, and Cisco Systems, where he focused on building high-performing teams, developing leadership programs, and implementing agile HR systems across international operations. He began his career with General Electric, later holding consulting and leadership positions at Deloitte Consulting and Kaiser Permanente, where he gained broad exposure to HR strategy, operations, and organizational transformation.
At Nerdio, Matthew will lead all aspects of human capital strategy—including workforce planning, leadership development, and employee experience—driving the company’s vision to empower businesses globally through modern, simplified, and people-centric innovation.
