With more than 17 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity, digital risk management, and data protection, Surendra will lead the cybersecurity strategy for Hexaware and its group companies, aligning it with the organization’s vision as a Cloud-first, AI-led powerhouse.
In his new role, Surendra will oversee Hexaware’s cybersecurity architecture, engineering, and operations, focusing on fortifying cyber resilience, embedding proactive risk governance, and driving innovation-led security initiatives across the enterprise. His appointment reinforces Hexaware’s commitment to building a secure digital ecosystem for its clients and stakeholders globally.
Before joining Hexaware, Surendra served as BISO and Head of Security for Cleartrip, Commerce Cloud, and Super Money under the Walmart Group, where he strengthened cybersecurity posture and compliance frameworks across business units. He also played a key leadership role at Flipkart, leading IT security architecture, cyber defense, and data protection initiatives across multiple functions.
Surendra spent over 14 years at Infosys, where he advanced to the role of Director (GM) & Head of Information Security Engineering and Cybersecurity TechOps, leading large-scale global cybersecurity programs, technology operations, and engineering standards. Across his career, he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to integrate security with digital innovation, ensuring operational excellence and trust in enterprise environments.
