Shilpa Dua appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at NIIT Limited

Gurugram, Haryana, India, October 2025 — NIIT Limited, a global leader in skills and talent development, has announced the appointment of Shilpa Dua as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective October 30, 2025. With over 18 years of cross-industry experience spanning financial services, retail, consumer goods, and healthcare, Shilpa’s appointment underscores NIIT’s focus on building a people-first, digitally enabled, and performance-driven organization.

In her new role, Shilpa will lead NIIT’s human capital strategy, talent development, and culture transformation efforts, aligning them with the company’s mission of empowering talent in the digital age. Her extensive expertise in driving leadership capability, organization development, and digital HR enablement will play a crucial role in advancing NIIT’s growth vision.

Before joining NIIT Limited, Shilpa served as Corporate Vice President and Head HR – Axis Partnership at Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, where she led key initiatives in people transformation and engagement. She previously held the position of General Manager – HR at Walmart India Private Limited, where she drove HR frameworks focused on operational excellence and employee experience. Earlier, at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., she held multiple leadership roles across talent acquisition, employee relations, and organization development, implementing strategic initiatives that enhanced business alignment and capability building.

Shilpa began her HR journey with GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, where she gained valuable experience across leadership development, capability enhancement, and people processes across corporate and manufacturing setups. An alumna of the FORE School of Management, New Delhi, where she earned her Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with a specialization in Human Resources, Shilpa is recognized for her strong focus on culture building, digital HR transformation, and leadership empowerment.
