San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States, November 2025 — Ashley Sutton has joined Amae Health as Vice President, People, bringing with her over 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience across healthcare, technology, and communications industries. In this new role, Ashley will lead Amae Health’s people strategy, organizational culture, and talent development initiatives as the company continues its mission to deliver compassionate, community-based care for individuals living with severe mental illness.
Prior to joining Amae Health, Ashley Sutton served as Senior Manager, Human Resources at Amazon, where she continued to lead HR for clinical and operations teams following Amazon’s acquisition of One Medical. In this capacity, she was instrumental in aligning HR practices across both organizations, ensuring a seamless integration process while maintaining a people-centric approach to employee engagement and healthcare operations.
Before that, Ashley spent over nine years at One Medical, where she rose through several leadership roles including Senior Director of Human Resources, HR Director, Senior HR Business Partner, and HR Business Partner. She played a vital role in building and scaling HR frameworks that supported rapid business growth, operational expansion, and organizational excellence. Her tenure at One Medical was marked by her focus on empowering healthcare professionals, strengthening culture, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Earlier in her career, she held key people leadership roles at Nectar Communications as Senior Manager, People and Culture, and at Say Media as People Operations Manager, where she helped shape people policies and workplace culture during critical phases of organizational evolution. Ashley began her career at Citizen Schools as Special Assistant, where she contributed to educational programs that promoted leadership and community development among youth.
