Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 – Tata Electronics, a rapidly emerging global player in the electronics manufacturing and semiconductor industry, has announced the appointment of Muthukumaran Subramaniyan as Talent Acquisition Lead. In this new role, he will lead strategic recruitment initiatives across key business units, driving scalable hiring practices that align with Tata Electronics’ ambitious growth and innovation agenda.
Before joining Tata Electronics, Muthukumaran Subramaniyan served as Talent Acquisition Leader at Tessolve, where he spearheaded global recruitment across India, the US, UK, and Europe. Over two years, he delivered over 1,595 successful hires with an 82% joining ratio, led a 36-member high-performing recruitment team, and achieved an impressive 97.9% direct sourcing rate, generating ₹42 million in cost savings. His leadership was instrumental in executing large-scale technical hiring for domains such as Design Verification, Analog, Embedded Systems, and AI/ML.
Previously, Muthukumaran worked as Talent Acquisition Leader at Wipro, where he led VLSI and System Design lateral hiring across India. His strategic approach to workforce planning and stakeholder management helped Wipro scale effectively in niche technology areas critical to its digital transformation agenda.
Before that, he served as Associate General Manager – Talent Acquisition at HCL Technologies, where he led recruitment for the Vijayawada Centre, focusing on Engineering R&D and Digital Infrastructure. Under his leadership, the team achieved 100% direct sourcing, doubled headcount within a year, and implemented high-impact sourcing and incentive strategies.
Earlier, at Centum Electronics, Muthukumaran held the position of Head – Talent Acquisition, India & HR Business Partner, where he successfully expanded hiring for the Strategic Electronics Business Unit and EMS operations while improving employer branding metrics. His career also includes impactful stints at Flex, Capgemini Engineering, IBS Software, Prasad Group of Companies, HCLTech, Standard Chartered Bank, Nihon Technology, and Spectrum Consulting, where he built deep expertise in niche technology recruitment, leadership hiring, and global workforce integration.
With more than two decades of HR leadership experience, Muthukumaran has developed a strong reputation for strategic recruitment planning, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence, making him a valuable addition to Tata Electronics’ leadership team.
