Espoo, Finland, November 2025 — Nokia has announced the appointment of Kristen A. Pressner as Chief People Officer and member of the company’s Group Leadership Team, effective 1 May 2026. With over 25 years of global human resources leadership across technology, diagnostics, and biotech industries, Kristen brings a transformative people strategy mindset deeply aligned with Nokia’s mission to lead in connectivity for the AI era.

Kristen joins Nokia after an exceptional two-decade tenure at Roche, where she most recently served as Global Head of People & Culture for Roche Diagnostics, supporting more than 40,000 employees across 150 countries and overseeing operations generating over $14 billion in revenue. During her time at Roche, she shaped a culture of inclusion, leadership development, and organizational agility across one of the world’s largest biotech enterprises, driving strategic HR innovation at scale.

Previously, as Vice President and Head of HR for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America at Roche, Kristen led HR strategy across the company’s largest region, representing more than 50% of diagnostics revenue. She also served as Senior Director of Global Learning & Development, advancing leadership capability and talent management initiatives across divisions and global functions.

Earlier in her career, Kristen spent nearly nine years at Texas Instruments, where she held diverse and progressive HR leadership roles spanning international assignments, mergers and acquisitions, and university relations—gaining deep exposure to global workforce management and strategic talent development. She began her professional journey with Spherion Corporation, where she demonstrated early leadership as a Branch Manager, driving revenue growth and operational turnaround.

An alumna of The University of Dallas, where she earned her MBA in International Human Resources Management, Kristen also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Purdue University, graduating with top honors.

In her new role, Kristen will lead Nokia’s global people strategy — driving talent transformation, leadership excellence, and organizational capability to support the company’s continued innovation and business growth. Her appointment reflects Nokia’s commitment to building an inclusive, future-ready workforce that connects intelligence across its global operations.
