Halil KARAKAYA Appointed as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Özak Global Holding

Istanbul, Türkiye, November 2025 — Halil KARAKAYA has taken on the role of Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Özak Global Holding, marking an important milestone in his HR leadership journey. In this new mandate, he will lead all human resources and administrative affairs across the diversified group, playing a pivotal role in strengthening organizational capabilities, advancing a people-first culture, and driving strategic HR transformation aligned with the group’s long-term growth vision.

Before joining Özak Global Holding, Halil most recently served as Group Human Resources Director at Peli Global, where he reported directly to the Board and led end-to-end HR transformation. His work focused on talent acquisition, organizational design, succession planning, capability building, performance systems, rewards, HR analytics, labor union processes, and culture development—making a measurable contribution to enterprise performance and people alignment during a fast-paced business expansion phase.

Prior to Peli Global, he contributed as Human Resources Director at Bonna Premium Porcelain, where he played a key role in building leadership readiness, introducing structured performance design, mentoring leadership teams, implementing HR analytics frameworks, and leading compensation, benefits, and Turquality certification-related processes. His role accelerated capability development and strengthened organizational growth readiness.

A significant part of Halil’s career was shaped at Coca-Cola CCI, where he spent close to 20 years progressing through impactful leadership roles across multiple geographies, including Türkiye and Iraq. During this journey, he managed human resources operations for plants and commercial teams, led organizational culture initiatives, implemented strategic workforce planning, developed HR systems and programs, and served as a mentor to senior leaders while building HR teams from the ground up.

Earlier in his journey, Halil held roles supporting HR operations, talent development, compensation and benefits, remote workforce engagement, and strategic HR projects—building the foundation for his strong people leadership approach.
