United States, November 2025 — Ma Liza Joy Garbanzos has been elevated to the position of Director, Talent Management Americas at Perfetti Van Melle, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished global HR career. In this expanded role, she will shape talent strategy across the Americas region, with a focus on leadership development, capability building and strengthening the organisation’s long-term talent pipeline.
Before this elevation, Liza served as Director, Commercial HR Business Partner US CAN at Perfetti Van Melle, where she spent more than a year enabling commercial talent strategies across the United States and Canada. Her work supported business growth, strengthened HR–commercial alignment and deepened organisational capability across key markets.
Prior to this, she was HR Director for the Philippines, Export Far East & Japan, contributing nearly two years to strengthening regional HR strategy across diverse markets. Before this role, she led people strategy as HR Director, Vietnam, where she spent more than three years supporting organisational development, talent transitions and capability expansion. Earlier, she served as HR Director, Philippines, further strengthening the business through robust people and culture practices.
Before joining Perfetti Van Melle, Liza spent close to four years at Mondelēz International as HR Manager, Commercial, supporting sales, marketing, consumer insights and enterprise business units. She also served as 1st Vice President at the International School of Beijing, contributing as part of the Parent Teacher Association during her family’s relocation to China.
Liza built strong early-career foundations through key HR roles at Kraft Foods, Petron Corporation and San Miguel Corporation, where she gained hands-on experience in HR operations, business partnering and organisational support across large-scale organisations.
