Boulder, Colorado, United States, January 2026 – Kellie H. Kvan has joined Electra as the new Director, Human Resources, marking a significant leadership addition as the company scales its impact in the clean energy and sustainable materials sector. In her new role, Kellie will be responsible for overseeing all HR operations, fostering culture transformation, and leading strategic talent development initiatives to support Electra’s mission of decarbonizing iron production.
Before joining Electra, Kellie H. Kvan served as Division HR Business Partner Leader at Mesa Laboratories, Inc., where she led hybrid HR operations in a dynamic life sciences environment. She was also HR Consultant at Employers Council, working closely with C-suite executives to support compliance, policy development, workforce planning, and succession strategies for multiple organizations.
Previously, Kellie held the role of Head of People & Culture – Compliance and M&A at Invitae, where she led global HR teams during a time of significant transformation, mergers, and acquisitions, supporting over 3,000 employees. She played a key role in legal compliance and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Kellie also held multiple HR leadership roles at Intrado, including Vice President, Human Resources, where she built high-performing HR teams, spearheaded global employee relations transformations, and led initiatives that enhanced talent retention and employee experience across a global workforce of 10,000 people.
Earlier in her career, she was Senior Manager, Labor & Employee Relations at Disneyland Resort, responsible for strategic employee relations, collective bargaining, and labor negotiations covering over 20,000 employees. She also worked at Eaton Corporation in progressive HR management roles and began her career with an internship at the National Labor Relations Board.
