New Jersey, United States, December 2025 – Scott S. has started a new role as Chief Financial Officer at Hand Over Hand (NJ), an organization known for its dedicated work with children and young adults with developmental and learning challenges. Scott joins the leadership team with a strong track record in strategic financial planning, organizational growth, and operational excellence, bringing nearly two decades of experience across the education, nonprofit, and service sectors.
In his new role, Scott will lead the financial strategy and planning functions at Hand Over Hand, ensuring sustainability and resource alignment as the organization continues to expand its services across New Jersey and New York. His deep understanding of financial systems, budgeting, and nonprofit governance will be instrumental in supporting the organization’s mission of providing personalized and impactful care through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and related therapeutic services.
Before joining Hand Over Hand, Scott S. served for over eight years at Noodle, where he progressed from Director of Finance to Vice President of Finance. At Noodle, he led strategic financial management, budgeting, and accounting operations while supporting the company’s scaling initiatives and partnerships in the education sector. His leadership helped align financial operations with organizational growth and digital transformation goals.
Prior to Noodle, Scott spent nearly six years as Director of Finance at Success Academy Charter Schools, one of New York’s largest and most successful charter school networks. There, he played a pivotal role in managing finance across multiple campuses, developing fiscal frameworks to support educational excellence, and ensuring transparency in budgeting and reporting.
His earlier experience includes a Finance Director role at the American Historical Association, where he handled accounting, reporting, and grants management in a nonprofit setting. Scott also worked as an Operations Accountant at Aramark, where he gained a strong foundation in financial systems and service-based cost management.
Hand Over Hand is a New Jersey-based organization dedicated to serving children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, ADHD, learning disabilities, and developmental delays. Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the organization offers home-based and center-based programs customized to each child’s needs.
With service areas spanning 11 counties in New Jersey and select regions in New York, Hand Over Hand delivers high-impact care through a team of BCBAs, behavior therapists, speech and occupational therapists.
