Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Saint-Gobain Abrasives has announced the promotion of SC Dey as Head of Product Management – Thin Wheels & Construction Products and Head – Indirect Accounts Channel, entrusting him with leadership of the company’s national product strategy, indirect channel growth, and market expansion initiatives.
With over 25 years of B2B leadership experience, SC Dey has played a pivotal role in driving Saint-Gobain Abrasives’ market leadership across India. In his most recent role as Head – Direct and Indirect Customers, he led national market expansion strategies, strengthened distributor ecosystems, and drove digital transformation initiatives that significantly enhanced customer engagement, productivity, and revenue acceleration.
Prior to this, he served as Channel Head – Key Accounts & Zonal Head – West, where he strengthened key account strategies, expanded distributor networks across Tier-3 and Tier-4 markets, and delivered sustained double-digit growth through pricing optimisation, distributor capability building, and CRM-led digital programs.
Earlier, as Zonal Sales Head – West, he grew regional revenues significantly while navigating GST transition challenges and expanding industrial channel coverage. His leadership journey also includes impactful stints as Sales Head – Orient Channel, Regional Sales Manager – West & East, and early career field roles where he built strong distributor networks and customer engagement models across India.
Academically, SC Dey holds an Executive Program in Strategy and Leadership from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur.
