New Delhi, Delhi, India, January 2026 — Hero MotoCorp has appointed Shivalika Chadha Malik as Head of Communications. In her new role, Shivalika will lead the company’s external and internal communications strategy as Hero MotoCorp continues to strengthen its global footprint and advance its purpose-led growth agenda.
In this role, she will be responsible for corporate, brand, crisis, and internal communications, supporting Hero MotoCorp’s evolving narrative as the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters and a key player in future mobility.
Prior to joining Hero MotoCorp, Shivalika spent over six years at PepsiCo, where she held multiple senior leadership roles across corporate and brand communications. Most recently, she served as Associate Director – Brand Communications for PepsiCo AMESA (Africa, Middle East, and South Asia), overseeing communications strategy across diverse and complex markets. Before that, she was Associate Director – Corporate Communications at PepsiCo India, following her earlier role as Senior Manager – Communications, where she worked closely with leadership teams on reputation management, employer branding, and integrated communications.
Earlier in her career, Shivalika was associated with Avian Media, where she spent over a decade and progressed to the role of Group Business Director, advising leading corporates on strategic communications, brand storytelling, and stakeholder engagement. She began her professional journey with The PRactice, gaining foundational experience in media relations and corporate communications.
With nearly two decades of experience spanning corporate, brand, and agency-side communications, Shivalika is widely regarded for her ability to build credible narratives, manage complexity, and align communications strategy with business priorities.
