Steve Pylman Appointed as Vice President of Human Resources at Bourns, Inc.

Riverside, California, United States, February 2026 — Bourns, Inc. has announced the appointment of Steve Pylman as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, Steve will lead the company’s overall HR agenda, strengthening talent systems, organizational effectiveness, workforce capability, and HR operations to support Bourns’ growth across its global manufacturing and technology-driven businesses.

With deep HR leadership experience across industrial, manufacturing, energy, and consumer products organizations, Steve brings a strong track record of leading enterprise HR functions, HR shared services, people operations, and business-aligned HR strategy.

In his new role at Bourns, Inc., Steve Pylman has taken responsibility for driving enterprise-wide people strategy and HR leadership, with a focus on aligning workforce priorities with Bourns’ long-term business needs in innovation, quality, and manufacturing excellence.

Prior to joining Bourns, Steve spent close to four years with BSH Home Appliances Corporation – North America, based in Orange County, California. During this tenure, he served as Head of Human Resources, leading HR strategy for the region, and previously as Head of HR Shared Services, where he strengthened HR service delivery models and operational effectiveness in support of employees and business leaders.

Before BSH, he held the position of Senior Human Resources Director at Jacuzzi Group Worldwide, supporting a fast-paced global business environment.

Earlier, he served as Head of Human Resources at H&S Energy Products, LLC, leading HR for a complex, multi-location business.

Steve also spent nearly four years with ExamWorks, Inc. in Orange County, where he served as Senior Director of Human Resources and earlier as Human Resources Director, building HR programs and driving workforce initiatives aligned with operational requirements.

A major part of his career journey includes over 11 years with Custom Building Products, where he progressed through multiple HR leadership roles including Human Resources Director, National Human Resources Manager, and HR operations and systems-focused positions such as HRIS & Payroll Manager and HRIS & Payroll Administrator—giving him strong depth across both strategic HR leadership and HR operations.

He began his HR career with early experience as Human Resources and Safety Coordinator at P & K Steel Service, Inc., building foundational expertise in workforce administration and safety-oriented HR coordination.

Steve Pylman holds an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
