Gurugram, Haryana, India, February 2026 — Rajat Tewari has taken on a new role as Head of Safety Excellence at British Safety Council, strengthening the organisation’s focus on safety culture, leadership, and behavioural transformation.
In his new position, Rajat Tewari is responsible for shaping Safety Culture, Safety Leadership, and Safety Management strategies, with a mandate to drive deep organisational change through belief, value, and behaviour transformation. Based in Gurugram, he will work closely with organisations across sectors to embed sustainable safety values and leadership-led safety practices.
Alongside this appointment, Rajat Tewari continues as Co-Founder and CEO of TranZend Consulting, a firm he founded in 2017 focused on organisational culture building, behavioural transformation, and safety excellence. Through TranZend, he has led and delivered large-scale safety and culture transformation engagements for public sector enterprises, global agrochemical and pharmaceutical organisations, oil and gas PSUs, software companies, and education institutions, including long-standing advisory engagements with British Safety Council.
Earlier in his career, Rajat Tewari spent over 12 years with DuPont, where he served as Business Head – Learning and Development, DuPont Consulting, playing a key role in DuPont’s Safety Culture Consulting practice across India. During this period, he also held leadership roles spanning Marketing Leadership Talent Development, Strategic Business Development (Automotive), and Business Management for Fluoropolymers and Teflon® Finishes, delivering strong growth, capability building, and safety-led transformation outcomes.
Before DuPont, he held progressive leadership roles at Bausch & Lomb, Coats, and earlier began his professional journey at ONGC as an Assistant Executive Engineer, gaining foundational exposure to industrial operations and safety in high-risk environments.
Rajat Tewari holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Marketing) from XLRI Jamshedpur, combining strong business acumen with deep expertise in safety, culture, and leadership transformation.
His appointment reflects British Safety Council’s continued commitment to advancing safety excellence through leadership-driven and values-based approaches across organisations globally.
