Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, September 2024 – Marta López has been appointed as the new Head of People Partnering at Ocado Group. In her new role, López will oversee the people partnering strategy, focusing on enhancing employee engagement and supporting organizational growth through strategic HR initiatives.
Marta López joins Ocado Group from her previous position as Global Head of DEI and Wellbeing at Ocado. During her tenure, she spearheaded diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies along with wellbeing programs, impacting the company’s global workforce positively.
Before her role in DEI and Wellbeing, López served as Head of People EMEA – Technology Solutions at Ocado Group. Here, she managed people operations across Europe for over 1700 employees and led a team of 22 professionals, driving strategic HR initiatives and supporting organizational growth.
Prior to Ocado, López held the position of Head of HR Europe and Central Asia at OLX Group, where she managed HR functions for more than 1400 employees across multiple countries. Her work involved overseeing various HR operations and strategic planning across diverse markets.
López also served as Global Manager M&A and Post Merger Integrations at OLX Group, where she played a crucial role in global HR due diligence and post-merger integration processes. This role involved managing complex HR transitions and integrations following mergers and acquisitions.
Earlier in her career, Marta was the Co-Founder of hired!bcn, a talent acquisition conference in Barcelona, and held various HR roles at Itnig, Digital Minds Recruitment, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, gaining extensive experience in HR management and operations.
