Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 – In a significant stride toward expanding its specialty care portfolio, Burnet Pharmaceuticals has announced the launch of its Gastro Specialty Division in Mumbai. This strategic move reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge healthcare solutions with deeper impact and broader reach across India.

As part of this expansion, Burnet has onboarded a dynamic leadership team to steer the division’s growth and excellence. Prasant Mohanty joins as Vice President – Specialty Business, bringing strategic foresight and deep industry expertise to drive the division’s operations pan-India. Sandeep Shelar, a seasoned professional, strengthens the leadership as Zonal Sales Manager, overseeing the West Zone with operational rigor. Santosh Jha assumes charge as Regional Manager, leading Mumbai operations with focus and precision. Additionally, Abhishek Gaur joins as Vice President – Finance, fortifying Burnet’s financial strategy and governance as the company accelerates toward new milestones.

Commenting on the announcement, O. P. Singh, Co-Managing Director and CEO of Burnet Pharmaceuticals, stated,
