In his expanded leadership mandate, Singhal will steer the organisation’s strategic growth agenda with a strong focus on services-led transformation, digital innovation, strategic partnerships, and customer-centric business solutions. His elevation reflects his significant contributions toward strengthening operational excellence and driving long-term business value for the company.
Prior to this elevation, Raj served as Strategic Advisor and earlier held key leadership roles at Hitachi Systems India Pvt Ltd including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Human Resource Officer, and Group CFO, leading initiatives across cloud strategy, digital delivery, financial transformation, and business integration. His wider career also includes leadership and entrepreneurial roles at coto, Avaya, The Coca-Cola Company, Lava International Limited, and airtel, bringing rich experience across finance, operations, strategy, and large-scale business transformation.
Before being elevated as Chief Executive Officer at Hitachi Systems India Pvt Ltd, Raj Kamal Singhal served as the organisation’s Strategic Advisor for close to a year, where he focused on business transformation, corporate strategy, AI & emerging technologies, operational excellence, and thought leadership, strengthening the organisation’s readiness for next-generation growth.
Earlier, he held the dual leadership role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Human Resource Officer at Hitachi Systems India Pvt Ltd for nearly five years, driving enterprise-wide priorities across cloud strategy, digital delivery, business integration, market expansion, and operations scale, while building strong execution frameworks and people-led transformation.
Prior to this, he served as Group CFO at Hitachi Systems India Pvt Ltd for close to two years, leading financial transformation, P&L optimization, strategic planning, operational finance, and cost leadership, enabling stronger business integration and value creation.
Before joining Hitachi Systems India, Singhal spent around four years with Avaya as Business Planning & Operations Head – APAC, where he supported revenue growth, operations scale, business planning, team leadership, and performance systems across the region.
Earlier in his career, he worked with The Coca-Cola Company for over three years as Deputy Finance Controller – INSWA BU, focusing on operations leadership, P&L management, business optimization, and cross-functional leadership. He also served at Lava International Limited for nearly two years as Finance Controller – INSWA BU, contributing to financial leadership, transformation projects, organisational design, and change management.
He began building strong foundational experience at airtel, where he spent nearly six years as Finance Head – DTH Western Region, developing deep expertise in finance leadership and business performance across large-scale operations.
