Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States, February 2026 — Stryker has appointed Amy Martyn as Senior Director, Human Resources for its Neurosurgical and ENT businesses, where she will support the organization’s people strategy within one of its key growth segments in medical technology.
In her new role at Stryker, Amy Martyn steps into an expanded leadership mandate after serving the organization for nearly three years in progressive HR leadership roles. Most recently, she worked as Senior Manager, HR Business Partner, where she partnered with business leaders to drive strategic workforce initiatives and strengthen organizational capability within a fast-growing global healthcare company.
Prior to joining Stryker, Martyn spent over seven years at Starbucks as Manager, Human Resources Business Partner, supporting multiple business functions. During her tenure, she held HRBP roles across Store Development, Operations, and Customer Marketing and Product, contributing to talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement across diverse teams.
Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Human Resources Generalist at Paychex, where she gained broad experience in HR operations and employee relations. She also worked as an HR Coordinator at Jones Lang LaSalle and began her professional journey as an HR Intern at Yum! Brands, building a strong foundation in corporate human resources.
Amy Martyn holds a Master of Human Resources and Industrial Relations (M.H.R.I.R.) from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, equipping her with deep expertise in labor and employment relations that supports her leadership in complex organizational environments.
