Reflecting on his journey from navigating complex M&A structures in his early consulting career to leading finance at a venture capital fund, Sheth highlights how finance in the VC ecosystem serves as a strategic lever for scale and innovation rather than a traditional back-office function.
In his expanded role at Prime Venture Partners, Sheth builds on his experience as Fund Controller, where he led financial operations and fund oversight for the early-stage investment firm. His promotion underscores his role in strengthening financial strategy and supporting portfolio growth within the venture ecosystem.
Prior to joining Prime Venture Partners, Sheth served as Vice President at India Quotient, where he contributed to investment and financial leadership in the startup ecosystem. Earlier, he spent over six years at EY across multiple senior roles in international tax, transaction tax, and transfer pricing, advising on complex cross-border transactions and M&A structures.
He began his career at DH Consultants Pvt. Ltd. in the direct taxation domain, building a strong technical foundation in finance and compliance that continues to inform his strategic approach in venture capital.
