Since joining Tenneco, Sarah has led one of the company’s largest direct material business transformation initiatives across multiple business units. As Executive Purchasing Director – Office of Strategic Execution, she worked closely with senior leadership to improve profitability, optimize P&L performance, strengthen purchasing strategies, and identify opportunities for value analysis, value engineering (VAVE), direct material cost reductions, and operational efficiency. Her leadership helped align procurement strategy with enterprise transformation objectives while improving financial performance and cross-functional collaboration. Her promotion to Vice President reflects the significant impact she has made in advancing Tenneco’s strategic procurement agenda.

Prior to joining Tenneco, Sarah served as Global Procurement Director – Commercial Vehicle at Garrett – Advancing Motion, where she managed approximately US$750 million in direct purchasing spend across nine global manufacturing locations. She led global procurement teams responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier performance, SOX compliance, ESG initiatives, and sourcing readiness for worldwide commercial vehicle programmes. During her tenure, she successfully launched a global procurement redesign, strengthened procurement governance, improved sourcing processes, and exceeded the company’s annual cost-saving targets through strategic supplier negotiations and operational improvements.

Earlier, Sarah held senior supply chain leadership positions at Auria, where she served as Senior Director of Supply Chain and previously Director of Supply Chain. She managed regional and global supply operations across multiple manufacturing facilities while overseeing hundreds of millions of dollars in purchasing spend. Her accomplishments included delivering significant annual cost savings, strengthening supplier performance, improving commodity forecasting, leading contract negotiations, enhancing sustainability initiatives, and maintaining uninterrupted customer supply through effective supply chain management. Before Auria, she spent more than six years with Constellium, serving as Director of Supply Chain for the company’s North American automotive business, where she led supply chain operations supporting multiple manufacturing facilities and helped strengthen procurement performance across a multi-billion-dollar business.

With extensive executive leadership experience across procurement, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, operational transformation, and manufacturing, Sarah has built a distinguished reputation for delivering measurable business results, building high-performing teams, and leading large-scale transformation programmes. Her promotion reinforces Tenneco’s commitment to developing strong internal leadership while continuing to strengthen its global procurement organization and operational capabilities.
