Brandy Day has been named the new Director of Human Resource Business Partners at William & Mary. With over two decades of rich experience in human resources, Day brings a comprehensive skill set and a deep understanding of HR strategies to her alma mater, poised to influence its future significantly.
Prior to joining William & Mary, Brandy Day held the position of Chief Talent Officer at Williamsburg Landing for a decade, where she excelled in enhancing job satisfaction and employee benefits design among other HR functions. Before that, she served as the Human Resources Director at Isle of Wight County, further honing her skills in employee relations and HR policy formulation. Her role at Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools as Human Resources Supervisor allowed her to develop and implement strategies that significantly benefited the institution’s staff and operational frameworks.
Her earlier experiences include impactful tenures at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP and Riverside Health System, where she developed foundational skills in recruitment and HR management that paved the way for her later successes. Throughout her career, Brandy has been recognized for her ability to blend strategic HR leadership with practical implementation, benefiting employee relations and overall organizational health.
