Pune, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 – Dassault Systemes Global Services (DSGS) has announced the appointment of Bijuraj Balakrishnan as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership milestone for the organization.
Bijuraj brings more than two decades of experience within the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem, having held multiple senior leadership roles across services, PLM practice leadership, and people & organization strategy. Most recently, he served as India Director – People & Organization Partner at Dassault Systèmes, where he played a key role in aligning talent strategy with business growth and operational excellence.
Earlier, as Services Director, he led complex service engagements and strengthened delivery capabilities across geographies. As PLM Practice Head, he headed one of the largest practices in India, managing a 200+ member delivery unit and serving top Fortune customers across Automotive, Aerospace, Hi-Tech, Semiconductor, and Consumer Goods sectors. His leadership spanned on-premise and cloud PLM/CAD solutions, presales strategy, global client relationship management, and the establishment of on-cloud test centers for next-generation products. He also played a pivotal role in industrializing smart services offers and strengthening interlocks across the 3DEXPERIENCE ecosystem.
Bijuraj began his career as a Software Engineer at Pentasoft Technologies Ltd., building a strong technical foundation in product development and localization. Over time, he evolved into a strategic leader driving large-scale delivery transformation, operational excellence, and innovation-led growth.
An alumnus of Vellore Institute of Technology (Master’s Degree in Computer Applications) and a participant in the INSEAD GLOW – Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership, Bijuraj combines deep technical expertise with global leadership perspective.
His appointment as CEO underscores DSGS’ commitment to scaling its services footprint, driving industry transformation, and strengthening its role as a value-centric hub within the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem.
