Chicago, Illinois, United States, March 2026 – Tropicana Brands Group has appointed Chris Tussing as Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening its leadership as the company continues to expand its global portfolio of iconic beverage brands and accelerate growth through innovation and consumer-centric strategies.
In this role, Tussing will lead the global marketing function, driving brand strategy, consumer engagement, and growth initiatives across Tropicana Brands Group’s diverse portfolio. His appointment reflects the company’s focus on strengthening brand equity and unlocking new growth opportunities across global markets.
Prior to joining Tropicana Brands Group, Tussing founded Inspiring 2C, where he worked as a strategic advisor and fractional executive, helping organizations align consumer insights, go-to-market strategies, and brand experiences. He also served as Chief Executive Officer at Buddy’s Pizza, where he led a transformation of the brand, revitalized product and customer experience, and drove significant expansion of its retail presence across the United States.
Earlier, Tussing served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Marco’s Pizza, where he played a pivotal role in accelerating brand growth, enhancing brand equity, and driving record sales milestones. His leadership contributed to the brand crossing the $1 billion annual sales mark and achieving one of the fastest growth rates in the QSR segment.
Tussing also held leadership roles at MERGE, where he served as President and Chief Marketing Officer, leading the company’s transformation into a unified marketing and technology platform and driving significant revenue growth. His earlier career includes senior leadership roles at DDB, Kraft Foods Group, mcgarrybowen, Palm + Havas, and BBDO Chicago, where he built extensive experience in global brand strategy, marketing innovation, and business transformation.
With a career spanning over three decades, Tussing brings deep expertise in brand building, strategic marketing, consumer insights, and organizational transformation, positioning him to lead Tropicana Brands Group into its next phase of growth.
