New York, United States, April 2026 — S&P Global has welcomed Firdaus Bhathena as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Technology & Transformation Officer (CTTO). In this newly created role, he will spearhead the company’s unified technology organization, harnessing the full power of its proprietary data and AI to unlock greater value for customers. The creation of the CTTO role marks a pivotal step in S&P Global’s evolution as it continues to power the markets of the future.
Before joining S&P Global, Firdaus Bhathena served as Chief Technology Officer at FIS. Prior to that, he was associated with Noom Inc. as General Manager, Healthcare, and with CVS Health as Enterprise Chief Digital Officer. Earlier, he also served as Chief Digital Officer at Aetna, where he led digital strategy and product responsibilities focused on customer experience, product roadmap, operations, partnerships, and competitive positioning.
Earlier in his career, he was EIR, Co-founder and CEO at Blade Network / Lineage Labs, Founder & CEO at Ziptr, and worked as an Independent Consultant supporting venture capital firms and software startups. He also held leadership roles at Symantec as Senior Director and at Cisco as Senior Director. These assignments reflect strong experience across enterprise software, product strategy, engineering, digital transformation, and startup leadership.
A significant entrepreneurial phase of his journey includes serving as Founder & CEO of Relicore, Inc., which was later acquired by Symantec Corp., and as Co-founder, VP Products at WebLine Communications, Inc., which was acquired by Cisco Systems. He also held early leadership roles at Kurzweil Educational Systems, Inc. as VP R&D and at Mule Automation Systems as Director of Engineering. Together, these roles reflect a long and accomplished career across innovation, enterprise technology, product leadership, and transformation.
Academically, Firdaus Bhathena holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). With experience spanning S&P Global, FIS, Noom, CVS Health, Aetna, Symantec, Cisco, and several entrepreneurial ventures, he brings a distinguished and well-rounded technology leadership profile to this new role.
