Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2026 — Sourabh Sharma has joined VVDN Technologies as Vice President – Automotive Sales. In this role, he is driving the growth of the company’s automotive sales vertical across the Indian market, with focus on passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and two-wheelers. He is also working on innovation-led opportunities in emerging technologies such as EV, ADAS, and IoT, while collaborating with Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners on product testing and automation strategies to enhance quality and efficiency.
Before joining VVDN Technologies, Sourabh Sharma served as Vice President at SecureThings, where he spearheaded the development of an automotive connected platform. In that role, he defined product and technology roadmaps aligned with strategic growth priorities, oversaw acquisition and merger activities involving technology startups, and carried profit and loss responsibility while supporting innovation and organizational capability building.
Prior to that, he was Business Unit Head and Vice President at Uno Minda, where he led the electronics business unit covering on-board and off-board EV chargers, BMS, telematics, BCM, and USB and wireless chargers across passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, and two-wheeler markets. During this phase, he drove revenue growth and EBITDA expansion, strengthened localization and in-house product development, reduced import dependency, improved manufacturing and supply-chain efficiency, and partnered with OEMs on future-ready EV and electronics solutions.
Earlier, Sourabh Sharma served as Chief Marketing Officer at MTA E-Mobility, where he focused on brand building and business development in the electric three-wheeler segment. Before that, he was Business Unit Head at Lumax World, where he helped establish and deliver profits for the telematics business unit of Lumax Ituran, a joint venture between Lumax India and Ituran Israel. He also had a short stint as Business Head at PAKO Technologies Private Limited, working on business development and management for intelligent transport management system opportunities in the commercial vehicle space.
A substantial part of his earlier professional journey was spent at KPIT, where he held roles including Head of Customer Management and Operations, Group Manager, and Engagement Manager. Across these assignments, he supported OEM and government business, customer management, field operations, intelligent transport systems, telematics deployment, and service operations across large fleets and state transport undertakings. He also contributed to predictive maintenance and operational efficiency improvements through semi-automated tools and service innovation.
Before that, he held roles such as Manager New Product Development at Luxor Writing Instruments Pvt. Ltd., Manager at TI Cycles of India, Assistant Manager at Ultra Motor India, Member – New Product Control at UNO MINDA Group, and Sales Account Executive at Savi Vision Pvt. Ltd. These assignments helped build his strong foundation across product development, EV support, supply chain, sales, service, homologation, program management, and automotive solution delivery.
Alongside his industry journey, Sourabh Sharma is pursuing an Executive MBA (CEO) from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. His career reflects deep and progressive experience across automotive sales, EV technologies, telematics, product strategy, P&L leadership, and business development, positioning him well for this senior role at VVDN Technologies.
