Gurpiar Sibia Joins Bain & Company as Expert Partner for AI in India

Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2026 – Bain & Company has announced that Gurpiar Sibia has joined the firm as an Expert Partner for Artificial Intelligence in India, strengthening its capabilities in AI-led transformation and advanced analytics advisory.

In this role, Gurpiar will focus on driving AI and data-driven transformation initiatives for clients, leveraging his deep expertise in enterprise AI, cloud, and digital ecosystems. His appointment underscores Bain’s continued investment in building cutting-edge AI capabilities to support organizations navigating large-scale technological shifts.

Prior to joining Bain & Company, Gurpiar Sibia held leadership roles at Google, where he served as APAC Presales Practice Lead – Cloud Data and AI. In this role, he led strategic AI and data transformation initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region, driving large-scale enterprise engagements and business growth.

Earlier at Google, he was Head of Customer Engineering for Digital Natives & Startups in India, leading cloud data and AI initiatives with a strong focus on enterprise AI, generative AI, and the startup ecosystem.

Before Google, Gurpiar spent over a decade at Cisco, where he served as Head of Systems Engineering – Enterprise India & SAARC, leading technology sales and transformation for large enterprise clients across sectors. His work focused on infrastructure modernization, multi-cloud strategy, IoT, and big data analytics, positioning him as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders.

He began his career with roles at Aricent, Convergys, and HCL Technologies, building deep technical expertise in data science, analytics, and enterprise solutions.

Gurpiar holds an MBA in International Business from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He has also completed an Advanced Program in Fintech and Financial Blockchain from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and the Stanford Advanced Management Program from Stanford University, further strengthening his strategic and leadership capabilities.

With over two decades of experience, he brings a strong combination of AI leadership, enterprise transformation expertise, and strategic advisory capabilities, positioning him to play a key role in Bain’s AI-driven consulting agenda.
