Toronto, Ontario, Canada, May 2026 — Maryann DeSilva has taken on a new role as Vice President, General Manager Canada at Hill’s Pet Nutrition, marking a significant leadership move within the global pet nutrition organization.
In this role, Maryann will lead the company’s Canada business, driving growth strategy, market expansion, and innovation-led initiatives, while strengthening Hill’s presence in one of its key international markets.
Maryann has been associated with Hill’s Pet Nutrition for nearly four years, where she has held multiple leadership roles including Senior Director, Therapeutic Nutrition Marketing & New Business Ventures (US) and Senior Director, Global Innovation, contributing significantly to innovation strategy and business growth.
Prior to joining Hill’s, she spent over nine years at Colgate-Palmolive, where she held several global leadership roles across Eurasia, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, leading marketing, innovation, and consumer insights initiatives across diverse markets.
Earlier in her career, she worked with Reckitt Benckiser as Global Senior Brand Manager, and with Cadbury as Global Chocolate Innovation Manager, building strong expertise in brand strategy and product innovation.
She began her professional journey with PepsiCo, where she held multiple roles across sales and brand management, developing a strong foundation in commercial strategy and market execution.
