San Jose, California, United States, May 2026 – Antonio Lucio has been appointed as Chief Marketing & Corporate Affairs Officer at PayPal, bringing with him decades of global leadership experience across marketing, corporate affairs, and business transformation. In this role, he will lead PayPal’s global brand, marketing strategy, and corporate affairs agenda as the company continues to expand its impact across global digital commerce and financial ecosystems.
Antonio Lucio joins PayPal after serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Corporate Affairs Officer at HP Inc., where he led the company’s global marketing transformation and corporate communications strategy. His tenure at HP was marked by strengthening brand equity, leveraging data-driven marketing capabilities, and enhancing the organization’s global reputation.
Prior to HP, he held the role of Global Chief Marketing Officer at Meta, where he was responsible for overseeing the global consumer marketing of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp, as well as shaping the corporate brand strategy of the organization.
Earlier, Antonio spent several years at Visa, where he served in multiple senior leadership roles including Global Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, Global Chief Marketing Officer, and Global Chief Marketing, Strategy and Development Officer. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in strengthening Visa’s global brand positioning, driving integrated marketing strategies, and contributing to its growth in brand valuation and global market presence.
His extensive leadership journey also includes senior roles at PepsiCo, where he was Chief Innovation and Health & Wellness Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for International Beverages, driving innovation, global marketing strategies, and business transformation initiatives. He also held leadership roles at Kraft Foods Group, along with early career experience across Procter & Gamble, RJR Foods, and other global organizations, building a strong foundation in brand management and product strategy.
In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Antonio is also known for his contributions to leadership development and diversity initiatives through his venture 5S Diversity, and his academic engagement as an Executive Fellow at the Yale School of Management.
