Turhan Turhangil Takes on Role as Senior Vice President – M&A & Strategic Transactions (Industrial Automation) at Schneider Electric

Zurich, Switzerland, May 2026 – Turhan Turhangil has taken on a new role as Senior Vice President – M&A and Strategic Transactions for the Industrial Automation Business at Schneider Electric, marking a significant transition after nearly a decade of leading marketing and business development across Europe. In this role, he will focus on portfolio optimization and inorganic growth, contributing to shaping the future of Schneider Electric’s industrial automation strategy.

Turhan Turhangil has been associated with Schneider Electric for over three decades, building an exceptional leadership journey across global markets. Most recently, he served as SVP Marketing & Business Development – Europe Operations, where he led strategic initiatives across marketing communication, digital customer experience, pricing transformation, and the deployment of IoT-enabled solutions such as EcoStruxure.

Prior to this, he held the role of Middle East Zone President (SVP), where he led a EUR 1 billion+ business across 20 countries, successfully doubling revenue over his tenure. His leadership spanned full P&L responsibility, regional strategy, and large-scale organizational growth.

He also served as SVP Eastern Europe & Central Asia, overseeing operations across 16 countries and managing a workforce of over 1,500 employees. Earlier, as Country Manager (General Manager) – Turkey, he led end-to-end business operations, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and services, while also managing acquisitions and post-merger integration.

His earlier career at Schneider Electric includes roles such as Industrial Operations VP & Plant Director, Assistant Commercial Director, and Production Manager, where he developed deep expertise in industrial operations, supply chain, and manufacturing transformation.

With a career spanning more than 36 years, Turhan brings unparalleled experience in global operations, strategic growth, and transformation leadership.
