Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 – Shanu Singh has joined Standard Chartered Bank as Head – Marketing for Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) India, marking a significant leadership addition to the bank’s marketing and brand strategy function. In this role, she will lead integrated marketing initiatives across wealth and retail banking, driving brand growth, customer engagement, and business impact in one of the bank’s key markets.
Shanu Singh returns to Standard Chartered Bank, where she previously spent over six years in multiple leadership roles across brand and marketing. During her earlier tenure, she held positions such as Director – Brand & Marketing (Consumer, Private and Business Banking) and Director – Brand & Marketing (Retail Banking, Wealth and Sponsorships), where she played a key role in shaping brand strategy and driving customer-centric marketing initiatives across segments.
Prior to rejoining the bank, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at ASK Asset & Wealth Management, where she led brand transformation and strategic marketing initiatives, including the unveiling of a new corporate identity that strengthened the firm’s positioning in the wealth management space.
She also held the role of Director – The Economic Times Brand at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., where she managed brand strategy and P&L responsibilities for one of India’s most influential financial media brands.
Earlier in her career, Shanu spent over eight years at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where she held multiple roles across product marketing, brand communications, and relationship management, building a strong foundation in banking and customer engagement.
Shanu holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
