Manchester, England, United Kingdom, May 2026 — Clare Empson has returned to N Brown Group as Director of Supply Chain, Property and Group Efficiency, just five months after leaving her position as Chief Customer Operations Officer at the company.
In her new role, Clare Empson will lead key priorities across supply chain, property, and group efficiency for N Brown Group, a leading UK digital retail platform headquartered in Manchester.
Before this appointment, Clare served as Chief Customer Operations Officer at N Brown Group, where she contributed to customer operations and business performance. She had earlier served as Supply Chain Director at the company, strengthening her leadership connection with the organization.
Prior to N Brown Group, Clare spent nearly 25 years with Ted Baker, where she held multiple leadership roles across operations, retail operations, global retail operations, international retail operations, and retail management. As Director of Operations, she led teams across global shipping, logistics, procurement, property, and health & safety, while also driving transformational change projects, supply chain reviews, procurement improvements, and operational efficiency.
Her long career at Ted Baker also included leadership responsibilities across retail strategy, training and development, cross-functional coordination, store operations, and international retail operations, giving her deep expertise in retail transformation, supply chain management, and operational performance.
