Jaya Chanda Joins Bureau Veritas as Talent Management Director – Asia Pacific

Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, May 2026 – Bureau Veritas has appointed Jaya Chanda as Talent Management Director – Asia Pacific, strengthening its regional leadership team as the organization continues to focus on people capability, leadership development, and organizational growth across the Asia Pacific region.

Jaya brings over two decades of experience spanning talent management, learning and development, leadership capability building, and regional people development initiatives across multinational organizations. Prior to joining Bureau Veritas, she was associated with Nestlé, where she most recently served as Regional Learning Program Manager – Asia, Oceania, Africa & Middle East.

Her appointment reflects Bureau Veritas’ continued focus on building future-ready talent ecosystems and strengthening leadership capability across its global operations.

Before joining Bureau Veritas, Jaya Chanda spent over six years with Nestlé in regional learning leadership roles based in Kuala Lumpur. As Regional Learning Program Manager – Asia, Oceania, Africa & Middle East, she led learning and talent development initiatives across multiple international markets, focusing on leadership capability, learning strategy, and organizational development.

Earlier at Nestlé, she served as Regional Learning Program Manager – Asia & Oceania, where she supported change management, leadership development, and learning transformation programs across the region.

Prior to her international regional responsibilities, Jaya spent nearly 16 years with Nestlé India in progressive HR and learning roles. As HR Manager – Corporate Learning & Training – South Asia Region, she led corporate learning initiatives and capability-building programs across the South Asia region. She also held the role of Assistant Manager – Learning & Training – South Asia Region, contributing significantly to learning strategy, stakeholder engagement, and leadership development programs.

Earlier in her career, she held administrative and people-focused leadership positions within Nestlé India, building expertise in employee engagement, operational management, and organizational coordination.

Before joining Nestlé, Jaya worked with organizations including Jindal Group and Taj Hotels, where she gained foundational experience in administration, stakeholder management, hospitality operations, and people engagement.

On the academic front, Jaya completed an Executive General Management Program from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and also pursued a diploma in Training and Development from Indian Society of Training and Development.
