Lhen Perez Joins BDO Unibank as Head of Recruitment

Manila, Philippines, May 2026 – BDO Unibank has appointed Lhen Perez as Head of Recruitment, where she will lead talent acquisition strategies across the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore as the organization continues to strengthen its leadership in banking and financial services across the region.

In her new role, Lhen Perez will oversee strategic recruitment initiatives, workforce planning, talent acquisition operations, and regional hiring transformation programs to support BDO Unibank’s continued expansion and talent growth agenda across Asia.

Prior to joining BDO Unibank, Lhen Perez spent over nine years with Citi, where she held several senior talent acquisition leadership roles across the Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, APAC Head of Strategic Talent Sourcing, leading strategic sourcing initiatives across the region.

During her tenure at Citi, she also held leadership positions including Global Head of Strategic Talent Sourcing for O&T, Global Head of TA Services & Head of TA Philippines, VP – APAC Talent Acquisition Professional Services Head, and VP – Head of Recruitment, Citibank CBPS. In these roles, she led recruitment operations, talent sourcing strategies, onboarding programs, and large-scale hiring initiatives while supporting business growth, workforce migration, and operational expansion across multiple markets.

Before Citi, Lhen Perez built significant HR leadership experience with AIG, where she served as Head of Talent Acquisition, Philippines & Guam, managing recruitment operations across multiple business entities and locations. She was responsible for implementing hiring strategies, managing recruitment centers, and supporting business growth through strategic talent acquisition initiatives.

Earlier, she also worked as Human Resources Director at Chartis and held positions including Senior HR Business Partner and Strategic Project Manager at AIG, where she gained extensive expertise across employee relations, organizational development, Six Sigma-driven process improvement, compensation strategy, workforce development, and HR transformation.
