Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, May 2026 — Doug Robinson has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer – Australia and New Zealand at Avanade, bringing extensive leadership experience across consulting, technology, business transformation, advisory, and regional growth.
Before joining Avanade, Doug served as Managing Director at DCRob Enterprises, where he provided business acceleration advisory, board advisory, investment, and personal development programs. He also serves as a Council Member – Non-Executive Director at Federation University Australia.
Earlier, Doug was associated with Accenture as Senior Advisor – Luminary, advising on industry growth opportunities, university partnerships, AI-led corporate transformation, and inorganic growth opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
Doug spent nearly 20 years with IBM, where he held major regional and global leadership roles, including Managing Partner – IBM Consulting Australia, New Zealand, ASEAN and Korea, Vice President – Asia Pacific, and senior account leadership roles for major clients including Air Canada, BHP Billiton, and Qantas. At IBM, he led large-scale consulting transformation, market growth, digital transformation programs, and billion-dollar business units across Asia Pacific.
His earlier career included leadership roles with Opal Fields, V3 Systems, Circle International, Brambles, and LEP International, where he built experience across board leadership, supply chain solutions, sales, marketing, and Asia Pacific business expansion.
