Gurugram, Haryana, India, March 2026 — Kuehne+Nagel has expanded the responsibilities of Nirmal Thakur, who has taken on the role of Vice President – Business Development & Solution Development, Integrated Logistics (4PL) Asia. In his expanded leadership position, he will lead business development and solution development for the company’s Integrated Logistics (4PL) business across the Asia Pacific region, driving growth strategy, enterprise supply chain transformation, consultative sales, and large-scale customer engagements.
Nirmal Thakur has built an impressive 16-year career with Kuehne+Nagel, demonstrating progressive leadership across integrated logistics, supply chain consulting, business management, continuous improvement, and global operations. Prior to assuming his expanded responsibilities, he served as Vice President – Solution Development & Consulting, Integrated Logistics (4PL) Asia, where he led consulting and solution design initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region, delivering multimillion-dollar supply chain transformation programs, commercial strategies, and end-to-end logistics solutions for global enterprises.
Earlier, Nirmal headed Business Management – Integrated Logistics (4PL) India, leading end-to-end customer logistics operations and managing strategic customer relationships, P&L delivery, and logistics programs with annual spend exceeding USD 100 million. Before that, he served as Integrated Logistics (4PL) Process Engineer & Continuous Improvement Lead, driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives, business process optimization, and change management programs that enhanced operational efficiency and delivered measurable cost savings. He began his journey at Kuehne+Nagel as 4PL Control Tower Operation Manager, overseeing 24×7 global supply chain operations, transport planning, vendor management, freight settlement, and logistics execution for one of the company’s largest global customers. Prior to joining Kuehne+Nagel, he worked as a Marketing Specialist at Nokia India Pvt. Ltd.
Throughout his career, Nirmal has developed deep expertise in Integrated Logistics (4PL), supply chain transformation, business development, consultative selling, solution design, logistics operations, process improvement, continuous improvement, customer relationship management, P&L management, and cross-functional leadership.
